Domain Name Registrations Continue to Grow June 27, 2009 Pingdom reports that the number of domain names registered continues to grow despite this ongoing Great Recession we are in. Pingdom cites a quarterly report from Verisign that says the number of registere domains climbed to 183 million, an increase of 12% from last year. The report also found that there are 240+ ccTLD extensions, but the top 10 account for 64% of all registrations.
