The service has announced the official launch of its service in Illinois. The company plans to announce service in thirty additional states by the end of 2001. Drinks.com has partnered with Drinks America in each state to take and fulfill orders for Drinks.com. The Merck Manual of Medical Information http://www.merckhomeedition.com The Merck Manual of Medical Information -- Home Edition, the popular medical reference, is now available free online as a free service from Merck & Co., Inc. The online edition contains the complete text from the book and can be browsed or searched. AskMe.com http://www.askme.com AskMe.com, formerly XpertSite.com, has launched its new question and answer service on the Web. AskMe.com has 30,000 experts who have answered more than 200,000 questions to date in over 2000 categories. AskMe.com's experts range from people with professional degrees to people who have knowledge based on life experiences. Fast Lane http://www.autoweb.com/fastlane/ Autoweb.com, an automotive Internet service, has launched a new weekly online publication -- Fast Lane. The magazine will be updated weekly with feature articles, photos and columns. Fast Lane consists of three sections: Headlight News, Caught in the Web and Autoweird. Headlight News will provide news from around the automotive world, while Caught in the Web will provide consumers with ``Spy Photos'' of the latest concept vehicles and upcoming cars and trucks.
