Google Nose

Google announced the launch of Google Nose on April 1st. The new service lets users find and experience different scents. Google calls it new scentsation in search. The company also says "smelling is believing."

Google says its Google Aromabase has over 15 million scentibytes from around the world. Google Nose has also been added as a tab on Google.com. Other features include Street Sense and Android Ambient Odor Detection. If you want to know what a wet dog, lemon or a ghost smells like this is the service for you. Take a look:

Note: This was a 2013 April Fool's joke from Google. If this someday becomes a reality it will be Google that coined the term scentibytes.
