Creating Bookmarks: Information and Tools
With your browser you can easily bookmark webpages for future reference. One quick way to bookmark a webpage when using Internet Explorer or Netscape is to use CTRL-D. Hold down the control key on your keyboard and then press the "D" key and your browser will bookmark the webpage you are on. Netscape Navigator
1. Go to the page of the website you want to bookmark. For example, https://www.howtoweb.com.
2. Click on the Bookmarks menu at the top of the page (between the Go and Options Menus), then click on Add Bookmark.
The page you selected should now appear on your bookmarks list. You can now re-visit the webpage any time by clicking on it in the list.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
1. Go to the page of the website you want to bookmark. For example, https://www.howtoweb.com.
2. Click on the Favorites menu at the top of the page (between the Go and Help menu), then from this menu choose Add to Favorites.
The page you selected should now appear on your bookmarks list. You can now re-visit the webpage any time by clicking on it in the list.
America Online
1. Go to the page of the website you want to bookmark. For example, https://www.howtoweb.com.
2. Click on the heart-shaped icon at the top right of the window.
3. When prompted to Add to Favorite Places, choose Yes.
The page you selected should now appear on your Favorite Places list. You can now re-visit the webpage any time by clicking on it in the list.
