Content Aware Image Manipulation and Resizing August 27, 2007
Image manipulation has never looked easier. The video below shows images being resized and reconfigured while the content inside the images is not distorted. Images are also manipulated to make people and objects disappear instantly as if they were never in the original image. As TechCrunch says this is something that needs to be added to Photoshop or another graphic software package. Go2Web says the software application is based on an algorithm developed by Dr. Ariel Shamir and Dr. Shai Avidan (Adobe).
