Spam is awful and annoying, but it apparently does generate sales even for the most misleading of spammers. An article in Wired reports how a security hole at a penis-enlargement pill company unveiled a strong sales report. A sales report was found unprotected on the website and listed hundreds of sales of the $50 pills. Unfortunately, many people -- including people who should have known better -- were buying the penis pills in droves.
