RSS, an XML format for syndicating content online, is gaining popularity fast. RSS is a quick method for news providers to allow other services and websites to reproduce their news headlines and a brief synopsis of the article. RSS is also being rapidly incorporated into news search engines and new services like RSS readers and RSS databases.
