Microsoft Unveils Together Mode Feature for Microsoft Teams
Posted on July 9, 2020
Microsoft has unveiled a feature called "Together mode" in Microsoft Teams. The interesting feature makes it possible to view multiple users together within the same background.
The background could be an office desk, table or even a classroom. The together mode video from Microsoft shows dozens of users in a classroom setting.
Microsoft says, "Together mode is a new meeting experience in Teams that uses AI segmentation technology to digitally place participants in a shared background, making it feel like you're sitting in the same room with everyone else in the meeting or class."
It is a cool feature that should make video watching easier on the viewer than viewing multiple windows with varying backgrounds like seen on group chats.
